At the Deseret News Marathon this past summer he broke the record for his age group by winning in the fifteen- - year old class. Last Friday afternoon be battled his teammate John Brassell for the top time over the Weber High course. Marshall won out. Brassell, senior, is a transfer from Virginia. He said his caoches used to run him 18 miles a day in workouts, said Coach Reyburn in reference to his senior runner. Tracy Fifield is one returning Warrior letterman who placed ninth in the region and 90th in the state last year. Look for him to give the Warriors strong competition. Frazier is another return-nin- g letterman. Scott Trimble, Max Jensen, and Matt Wayment all combine to give the Warriors added depth. All in all the Weber team looks to have seven strong distance runners that could give a lot of heck to Region One teams and the - rest of the state. Leo |
