Mortensen reports he has had a close relationship with the people of Pleasant View and admitted, being a councilman for a growing community like Pleasant ' View, has been' an experience he, ; considers valuable. He is doing his internship at the University of Utah. He and his wife, Teresa live in Granger. Carl served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints in New Zealand, after which he served his country in the . . United States Army. Upon his release he went promptly to dental school in Lincoln Nebraska. Attempting to finish his schooling was no easy task. By this time in Carls life he had multiplied a little, accepting the responsibility of a wife, Bonnie, and their three ; young children. Carls task was even more complicated ! i with concern for the health of his young wife. Those years were ones of struggle and sacrifice that must have surely helped to solidify Carls ability to set goals and then maticulously go about achieving them. Carl . He was instrumental in initiating Little League Football in Plain City. Carl has a very objective view of himself. He knows that it is impossible to please everyone. He is aware that some poeple do not approve of some of his actions but, his wife adds that he has always been loyal to himself, his church and his civic duties.
