The Utah Symphony is turning to this popular activity for its primary fundraising event for 1978-t- he Worlds Largest Garage Sale on Sept. 8 and 9, in the Salt Palace. On sale in the Salt Palace assembly hall on Friday from noon to 9 p.m. and Satuday from 10 a.m. to 6 gjiirgje s p.m., will be the fruits of a two-mont- h collection driveway snowplow, a Fountain campaign conducted by hundreds of Symphony volunteers. There you will see and be able to purchase household items, clothing, building material, furniture and even a 14x20 foot r garage (no garage sale is complete without the garage). A highlight will be the free outdoor concert presented by the Symphony with Ardean Watts conducting, Friday at 6 p.m. in front of the Salt Palace. N., deputy manager of the Utah State Employment Service in Ogden, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 1978, at the St. Benedicts Hospital of a heart attack. Mr. Judkins was born June 8, 1926, in Ogden, a son of Hyrum Eugene and Edith Viola Cowles Judkins. On Nov. 21, 1950, he was married to Flora Roberts in the Salt Lake LDS Timple. He was a lifelong resident of Ogden and graduated from Weber High School and Weber College. He received a bachelor degree from the University of Utah in 1952. Her served an LDS Mission to New Zealand from 1946 to 1949. He was a member of the North Ogden 6th Ward and had been 3000 bishops counselor, hieh leader, group priest the deacons, teachers, priests and elders quorum. of He had been a home teacher and Sunday School teacher. Guard Chaplain Mr. Judkins had been chaplain of the Utah National Guard, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colnel, and had also been state chaplain. He was presently chairman of the Weber County Merit Council and had previously been chairman of the Citizens Advisory Committee to Weber State College Vocational School. He had been chairman of the War Memorial Park Committee of North Ogden, and had served on the Advisory Council of the Manpower Program for the of Association Local Government. He had been active in the industrial development of Weber County. He served in the Navy in World War II. Surviving are his widow of North Ogden; three sons and two daughters, Kerry Judkins, Ogden; Randy C. Mr. Munk was born Feb. 24, 1923, in Manti, Utah, a son of Leo Domgard and Emerett Anderson Munk. He was married to Ida May Letz in June of 1948. They were later divorced. He was married to Ula Smithson in July 1958. They were divorced. He was a salesman for Bon Marche Co. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Mrs. James (Cleone) Don Mrs. Creamer, (Juanita) Rhees, both of North Ogden. Funeral services were held Saturday at l p.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Calvin S. Chandler of the North Ogden 6th W'ard officiating. Interment in the North Ogden Cemetery. and Weber High School. Surviving are his widow of North Ogden; two sons and two daughters, Lane C., Hoyt, Kim L. Hoyt, Mrs. R.J. (Sandra) Herman Jr., all of William Mrs. Ogden; (Sherry) Bernard, Casa Grande, Ariz.; and one grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Von F. Hoyt, Salt Lake City; Milton Hoyt, Tacoma, Wendell Hoyt, Wash.; Kanab, Utah; Mrs. Ordell (Lorraine) Jones, St. Ms. Lyle (Hermoine) Gibson, Cedar Ciy Utah. Interment in the Ogden City Cementary.
