This program is sponsored for the purpose of giving students (and adults) in the area an experience in foreign living. On May 31, 1979, Weber area students will embark upon a journey of learning, intrigue, excitement, fun, and suspense as they experience what 360 others with the district tour have experienced the past few ' 4 7 ,V7r t ' ? r ! The main xirpnse of this leadership workshop was to excite the tudents about their own ciiool and its activities and make them more aware of what they can offer as tudent officers. M, L. Next summers 25 day itinerary promises to be the procedure. This meeting is field weekly at the high school and involves all the student officers. Weber High student leaders displayed their pride and leadership in their offices by being dressed in their class sweaters. The group then divided into individual discussion where the high school studentbody officers related each of their own responsibilities and encouraged the young officers to develop better leadership qualities. Tammy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. Cole of 1311 East 2500 North, North Ogden. Frosty is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Charles and Conolly Sorenson. He lives at 2427 North 575 East in North Ogden. Tammy is presently serving on the senior class council, the pep club and is involved in the Weber High print shop. In the past she has been and has awared the been a member of the high W-p- in if in the Girls honor roll nine of nine terms. She enjoys snowskiing and sports as much as being a good student. She would like to attend Weber State College upon graduation from high school. Frosty is the head Tallyman for Weber High School and has been on the high honor roll several terms. He enjoys gymnastics, diving, playing the guitar, skiing, and pole vaulting on the track team. He is a member of the National Ski Patrol for Nordic Valley and has high hopes of competing in the state track meet. Frosty wants to go on and attend college after high school. LeFray Kelly, (certified teacher) and Nancy Imlay, (aide), are extending to these youngsters an opportunity to discover that learning can be a fun experience. The happy en- thusiasm of these youngsters seems to bloom and grow under the eager care and direction of their instructors.
