V M i n n "l Francis A. ftynn c Washingtor Marcn on 3. awav Ryan passed 2007 in Beavei Utah He s born in Spokane . j t Clair Kay Lee Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, Clair Kay Lee, passed away after a valiant fight with heart disease on March 19, 2007 in Sea! Beach, California. Clair was bom July 16, 1934 on a sweltering hot day in St. George, Utah & to Levi Hyrum Flaral Christensen Lee. The family moved to Beaver in 1937 where they established a retail clothing store. Clair from graduated Beaver High School in 1952. He attended BYU where he was in the ROTC program. He earned a degree in Business and Accounting and graduated in 1956. Following graduation, he served in the United States Air Force as a pilot in Texas and was subsequently stationed in Washington, D.C. where he continued his service at the Pentagon. After his time in the service, he determined a career in retail merchandising was his forte. In 1964, he returned to Beaver where he entered into the family retail business. He married Marie Hunt in 1963 and four outstanding children were born and reared from that union. Being civically minded, Clair dedicated endless hours to the Lions Club in various positions, eventually serving as a State District Governor. Many cherished friendships developed throughout the country as a result of his participation. He served as a member of the Color Country Tourism Board and the Utah Travel "Council 'in'" numerous capacities over the past thirty years to promote tourism in Southern Utah. One of his greatest joys was working the "travel shows" in various cities across the country. He possessed a deep love and devotion to his family. He was called "Papoo" by his grandchildren and treasured the precious moments he spent with them. He has served as chauffeur, chief bottle washer, diaper changer, dog walker, and the most amazing meatloaf chef. To say the least!!! chilYour grandchildren, extended and family dren, friends will miss you and love you infinitely... He was preceded in death by his parents Hyrum and Flaral Christensen Lee and a beautiful granddaughter Autumn JaneMarie. All are invited to attend graveside funeral services at the Beaver City Cemetery on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Viewings will be on 8:00 p.m. Friday from 6:00 and Saturday from 12:30 1:30 p.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver.
