Janet has been an active member of Beaver Unit 32 for a number of years and attended Girls State last year where she was elected to the office of State Representative. Janet has been very active in school affairs at Beaver High School from which she graduated this spring as one of the four top honor students. She held various school offices and was active in music and drama events. Janet will apply this scholarship to the nursing program at Southern Utah State College where she has been enrolled for the past summer session and will continue to attend this fall. Janet was also the recipient of a $1500.00 scholarship from the Beaver Valley Hospital which was awarded her upon her graduation from high school.
