Alfred Parade 2005 Marshall Stadium. "222 We Celebrate Christmas With You" The Beaver 2005 Betterment Club Christmas Parade is just around the corner. It will be held on Saturday. November 26th at 6:00 p.m. Santa's visit will be from 5 p.m. at the Armory in conjunction with the Craft Fair. Jamie White will be taking photos for those who wouid like them. A 5 x 7 picture will be $5.00. A countdown will be held to turn on the city Christmas lights the following immediately Office. at Post the parade We would like to take this 3-- opportunity to invite all to participate with us this year. We need your support to bring in the magic of the season it will surely come alive this night. The parade theme for 2005 is "222 We Celebrate Christmas With You." Grand Marshals will be Families of the 222. Since the parade will be at night all entries must be lighted. You may use a spotlight, Christmas lights, flashlights or any other form of lights. If you would like to use music as part of your entry, we ask that you use Christmas music. Line up for the parade will be at 5:30 p.m., just north of Belknap Elementary School (400 North & Main). No entry fees are required. Awards will be given for Santa Award, Elfs Choice and Best Use of Theme. A sign up sheet is required; you may obtain one from Alison Webb. Every person in the parade must sign a waiver. Please return the sign up sheet to Carolyn Andersori by November 21. 2005. (435) 586-540- fI i III I i Foster Lewii Morris Foster Lewis Morris, 91, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2005 of at the causes natural Health Terrace Washington Services Facility. Foster was born December 7, 1913 in Newhouse, Utah the fifth of seven children to William and Lena Schwob Morris. The family later moved to Milford, Utah, where Fester became a star High School Football and Basketball player. After graduation from High School, Foster attended one year at Utah State Foster returned to University. Milford where he met his lifelong sweetheart Charline Hewitt. They were married in Ogden, Utah on February 22, 1943. They spent 58 wonderful years together before she passed in June of 2001. Foster served his country honorably during World War II between 1944 and 1946. He was with the United States Army 149th Infantry Regiment, where he was a Rifleman and radio operator. He participated in two combat campaigns in the battle for the Philippine Islands. He Combat the received and Infantryman's badge obtained the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge in 1946. After his military service, Foster continued his employment with the Union Pacific Railroad Company. Foster loved railroading and at different times worked as a brakeman, and baggage-ma- n finally He worked for Conductor. Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years. Foster was a member of the LDS church, becoming active in the faith at the age of 80. Foster is survived by his three children, Rodney (Peggy), Layton; Roger (Kathy) Las Vegas, NV: Janet (Denny) McCoy, Sun City, West AZ; his younger brother, Lamarr Morris, Milford, UT; 10 grandchildren and 13 Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Oak Forest LDS Ward, 2250 No. 2200 No. Layton, Utah with Bishop Fred Friends Wasden, officiating. and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
