Show Mrs. Phoebe Beard died at six o'clock Wednesday morning. Mrs. Beard had been sick about a week with influenza and Monday night was stricken with pneumonia. She ;is survived by her husband, Tom Beard and three children. Funeral Funer-al services will not be held until Saturday on account of the expected arrival of relatives. A. H. Dahie motored over beyond 'Garrison Tuesday on business. He returned Wednesday accompanied by Jack Sherwood, Bob Sherwood land Jack Peardon, who have Just 'completed a contract on the Eston mining property, i ' Mrs. Allen Hedges returned Bat- 'urday night from a visit with her husband in Salt Lake. Deputy Hedges Hed-ges is recovering nicely from .the effects of the gun shot wound in his hand and will return home the last of this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Sanders of St. George are now Milford residents. Mr. Sanders has accepted a position with the Jefferson Mercantile Co. He has just recently returned from service overseas with the 144th field artillery. Mrs. Sanders. was one of the popular clerks in the Jefferson store during her husband's absence in France. Mrs. A. H. Smith returned Saturday Satur-day night from a visit in Los Angeles She was accompanied home by her son. Lieut. A. M.
