Mrs. E. H. Street and children are visiting in Salt Lake, a few days this week. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Arrineton and child returned, Sunday, from a brief visit in Salt Lake. Miss Lola McCarrel has returned from Salt Lake, after a visit of about ten days in the metropolis. P.J.Curran, who has ranch property near Malone. was a caller at the NEWS office, Wednesday. Miss RhodaTannerof Beaver visited her sister, Mrs. Harry Bowen a day or two this week, later proceeding to Salt Lake. Mrs. T. E. Banning, wife of the local Salt Lake Passenger Agent, returned Tuesday, from a week's visit irt Salt Lake. H. T. Hanks and wife and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larsen returned Sunday, after a f.w weeks of enjoyable outing in the Yellowstone Park. Fred and Delia Cottrell, who have been spending; Beveral weeks with friends in Beaumont, California, returned last evening, having had an enjoyable visit. Mr. Huffbrauer of the Milford Lumber Lum-ber Company, is erecting an attractive dwelling on the LewiB Addition. Mr. Earhart, of the same company, will occupy the residence when completed. An auto-party consisting of Miss Carter, Miss Mary Roper, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Trlbole, R. G. Slewert and James Ramsey, spent the day at Beaver, last Sunday. Will Cook of Beaver is now in the meat department of the Jefferson Mercantile Company, where he will substitute for Fred Jefferson, who left yesterday on a vacation into the mountains. Messrs. P. W. and Vivian Duffin were called to Tokerville, in the Dixie country, Sunday, by the death of their mother, who passed away on the morning of that day. Death was due to cancer of the stomach. "" Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ward gave a p private dance, Wednesday evening at their home on Stoddard Avenue. Guests included Shirley Atkin, Miss Helen Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Palmer, Wesley Carlyle, Guy Lewis, Miss Alice Bohn, Miss Mavme Williams, Wil-liams, E. B. Jorgensen and Mrs. V. I M. Palmer. Refreshments and social intercourse rounded out a pleasant evening. i |
