Show REMEDY FOR PXEUMOXIA Here is a remedy for pneumonia which is deserving of your most serious seri-ous consideration, now especially, since the influenza usually causes death through this dreadful disease. This article whs clipped from one of the Los Angeles papers several years ago and its value was successfully success-fully proven in a number of cases. We hope it will be given wide publicity public-ity and do a real service to those who may be suffering during this period of epidemic: The remedy is: Saturate a ball of cotton one inch in diameter with spirits of grain alcohol, add three drops of chloroform to. each ball of cotton, place it, between the patient's teeth (after first using vaseline on the gums to prevent burning) and let the patient inhale the fumes in long deep breaths for 15 minutes; then rest for 15 minutes or more; tnhalo again and repeat the above 20 times. The result will be that the lungs will relax and expand to their normal size. In 24 hours the patient is out of danger, and in 48 hours cured, although weak. Change the cotton every seven minutes, else the saliva will dilute the alcohol. |
