After searching in Arizona, Nevada, California and Italy for the right color of rock, Momen found just what he wanted right here in Milford. He needed 25 tons of the rock, which could have cost him as much as $20,000 to $30,000, but Horn Sliver Mines and Toledo Technology decided they wanted to donate the rock. The rock will be precast into spheres, the largest of which will be 13 feet In diameter. The trunk of precast cement will be round on one side and flat on the other.
