Mlnersvllle has been designated as a health hazzard and source of surface water pollution. Mlnersvllle sewer problems have been declared top priority. Mr. Pickering reviewed the audit with the City Council and stated that there were no problems with the audit report. Mr. Dale Beckstead met with the City Council to discuss the building of an overnight trailer park on his property which Is presently zoned for a Mobile Home Park. The cost for sewer and water charges were discussed with Mr. Beckstead. It was the concensus of the City Council that Mr. Beckstead must furnish a water meter at his cost to meter the water used in the overnight trailer park. It was the concensus of the City Council that the Planning and Zoning Board should be called so that they may make a decision regarding the Beckstead Trailer Park. The City Council recessed for a period while the Planning and Zoning Board met. After discussion, Beaver City approved and Zoning recommendation. Beaver City will pay the gas and dinner for Beaver City's delegation to the October 5, 1983 meeting with Western Power Administration. Beaver City joined the State Federal Surplus Property Program. Councilman Bradshaw discussed with the Council additional renovations to the Baker Canyon water line. Councilman Bradshaw stated that the existing line from the mouth of Baker Canyon to the junction box was in dire need of repair and the water has been turned out of the system . .Beaver City will replace the Baker Canyon waterllne from the mouth of Baker Canyon to the junction box, an approximate distance of 2,200 feet. Councilman Smith requested that he be allowed to transmit on Beaver City's frequency In emergency situations. The parson that brings in the most filled garbage bags will be given a box of their favorite candy bars as a prize. S doesnt matter where the garbage Is collected.
