Show day evening at the school house. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Myers My-ers andfamily of Saugis, Cal. have been here visiting with parents, Ernest and Shirley Myers. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Howard and Gwen Pryor were Pat Williams of St. George and her two grandchildren of Milford, and Brose and BerthaDalton of Mesa, Ariz. Brose and Bertha are planning on staying stay-ing here for the summer. They have rented a trailer house. Harold and Johanna Pryor were visitors, also. Sunday evening in Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting the girls who attended Girls State in Cedar Ce-dar City were the speakers. They were Lacy Marshall, Valerie Wood and Katie Hol-lingshead. Hol-lingshead. Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Gail) Baker of San Bernardino, Calif, visited for a week with Gail's aunts and uncles, Darwin Dar-win and Vivian Marshall and art and Sylva Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Gress-man Gress-man and family of Tooele were here for a few days visit with their mother, Alba Carter, and brother, Neal and Jane Gressman. Blane and Emma Sidwell visited Friday and Saturday with their mother, Armina Banks. Al and Theone Mosher returned re-turned home Friday night after visiting their children in Calif, for the past three weeks. Dr. and Mrs. Paul Tucker of Buena Park, Calif, were Saturday visitors of Em and Shirley Myers. Don and Nellie Long of Urbana, 111. have been visiting visit-ing their parents, Horace and Madge Carter, for a week. Also arriving Sunday was another daughter, Bob and Joy Granger and family of La Habra, Calif. The girls are here to help prepare for the Carter family reunion to be held July 5. Christen Wood, daughter of Vern and Florence Wood, was 12 years old on June 25. That evening she had abirth-day abirth-day party at her home to celebrate. cele-brate. Lisa Carter, daughter of Ted and Dorothy Carter, was 10 years old on June 26. She invited her friends to aparty to celebrate the occasion. James Davis, son of Billy and Ranae Davis, was chosen to be with the Youth Conservation Conser-vation Corp. Visitors here to attend the Marshall-Bealer wedding in the Manti Temple and reception re-ception Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Messin-ger, Messin-ger, Mrs. Ruth. Knight, all of Cedar City, and Mrs. Al-deen Al-deen Jones of Kaysville. Maurine 'Kearney and son Lary of Kearns is here to visit her mother, Vella Stephenson, for a few days. Roy and Wanda Kirt of St. George visited Monday with Ern and Shirley Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Gold Eyre of Cedar City were accompanied accompan-ied by their sisters, Lola Bonn and Gladys Myers, to Stockton, where they visited another sister, Clare Evans, who is ill. Goldie and Hilda Marshall went to Mesa, Ariz, to attend the wedding of their grandson, grand-son, Tommy Stubbs, on June 27 th. Tommy is the son of Tom and Helen (Marshall) Stubbs of Orem, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bud (Alta) Williams visited their parents, par-ents, Randall and Loneva Banks, during the week. LaBerta Richardson and daughter, Martha Johnson of Logandale, visited her parents, par-ents, Clarence and Wanda Corbridge, over the weekend. week-end. Also visiting one Say were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Evans and family of Layton and Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Carmen) (Car-men) Dotson announce the birth of a daughter born June 17th in the Cedar City Hospital. Hos-pital. Grandparents are Ned and Ruth Daley of Beaver. A few of our citizens are in the Milford hospital receiving re-ceiving medical attention. They are EulaliaDavis, Vella Vel-la Stephenson, Ranae Eyre, and Arlene Craw. Arlene was released Sunday. on her way home to Calif, accompanied by her friend. Shirley Myers, accompanied accompa-nied by her daughter, Tonya Taylor and baby, visited a week in Blackfoot, Idaho with her daughter, Tamara, and son-in-law, Kent Gillins and children. Floyd and Beulah Wood were in Hurricane Saturday to visit their daughter-in-law, Joette Wood and children, child-ren, while Vance is in Logan to study for his Masters Degree De-gree in Education. Ray and Maude Messinger of Escondido, Calif, are visiting vis-iting until after the 4th of July with her sisters, Wilma (and Daisel) Davis and Hilda (and Goldie) Marshall, and also visiting in Milford and Beaver. Brandon and Christy Harding, Hard-ing, children of Clyde and Marsha Harding, visited grandparents, Marshall and Nellie Hollingshead , a few days during the week. Also at the Hollingshead home over Sunday were Doug and Madalyn Nielson and baby of Beaver, Neil Hollingshead of BYU, and Duke and Jill Hollingshead from Provo, and Doris from Cedar City. David and Janet Williams of Las Vegas visited Monday with Max and Ann a Rae Carter. Cart-er. They were on their way home from Provo where they had attended the Heslington wedding reception Saturday. The youth of Minersville Ward sang in the chorus for June Conferance of the LDS Church in Salt Lake over the weekend. Those singingwere Russell Albrecht, Glen Keener, Keen-er, Terry Lemon, Debra Williams, Wil-liams, Dick Griffiths, and Kayleen and Kathryn Carter. They were accompanied to Salt Lake by Rex Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Brown and family are spending a few days visiting with their parents in Malad, Idaho and in Wyoming. Burnell and Louis Lamb and family of Henderson, Nev. visited during the week with their sister and husband, Delmer and Dene Gray. Joe and Doris Marshall and family of North Platte, Nebr. have been visiting their parents, Newell and Theo Marshall and in Milford Mil-ford with Mr. and Mrs. John Beitz, the past week. Lorin and Lucille Goff were in Salt Lake for several days visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. James Goff of Henderson, Nev. were in town on Friday visiting relatives rela-tives and friends. Lilly Lambson had as weekend visitors her sisters, Minerva Proctor of Boulder, Utah and Maude Hoggan of Salt Lake; her daughters, Hal and Katherine Brinkerhoff of Springville and Mary Ann Gillins and family; and a son, Mr. and Mrs. Fount Lambson of Kearns.
