Show CHURCH AUCTION RUMMAGE SET THIS SATURDAY Lots and lots of gocclies is the way Joan Long, Chm. of the Methodist Church's Annual Rummage-Auction, described it. She said, there are 170 pair of new boys shoes, new suits, two live sheep, stsreo, radio and phono that works and a good black and white TV. We've got a 1957 Chev. Wagon with new brakes, a new tire and the cwner says it still gets 18 miles to the 'gallon and doesn't does-n't use any oil. We are expecting expect-ing a pool table and of course we will have lots of women's wear, some of it new and the usual run of top quality rummage. rum-mage. The Sale starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 and the auction will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday will be rummage only. If the weather gives us a break she said and we can entice the men away from tv football, we'll expect a good crowd. And you don't even have to worry about carrying away heavy merchandise. Just buy the fork life we will have at the auction and make the trip home easy. |
