JUNIOR PROM OF '58 After two long weeks of hard work the Juniors of Beaver High were finally rewarded for all th eir efforts. Their prom was held Friday, April 11, in the B H S gym. The color scheme was green and white and decorated to the theme of "Sail Along Silvery Moon." Doug Baker and Neil Bradshaw sang the theme. The prom was under the student stu-dent direction of Bussell Dean, general chairman; Maureen Myers, Nelson Ashworth, Allie Muir, Del Goff, Joe Murdock, Terry Gregersen, Iretta Hutch-fngs Hutch-fngs and Sherrill Murdock. The Junior class officers are Gary Pickard, president; Faye Hamilton, Ham-ilton, vice president; Roger Taylor, secretary; and Clair Baldwin, treasurer. Mr. Carter and Mrs. Griffiths are the class advisors. . The dance was a tremendous success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed Iherrjselves. ELECTIONS Last week was devoted to the campaigning of the two parties, each trying their hardest to win the election which was held COMING EVENTS The traveling assembly is being be-ing planned and rehearsed and is to be presented on the 26th and 27th of 'April, at Parowan, Cedar City, Delta and Fillmore. B-Day, an annual event at B H S, is scheduled for May 2. The student council has planned many activities and everyone should thoroughly enjoy themselves. them-selves. The band and chorus will be traveling to Hurricane for the Music Festival on May 3. They are both practicing very hard to make a good showing for Beaver. The traveling assembly from Milford will be presented to the Beaver High School students on Thursday. Everyone is anxiously anxious-ly looking forward to this presentation. TAKES CHURCH POST IN ST.
