Show SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR MYRON VEST Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Tuesday for Myror Vest, 74, who died Saturday a' his home in Milford cf a heart attack. The services were as follows: Prayer at the mortuary, preceding pre-ceding the services. Carlyle F. Gronning. Prelude and postlude music Mra. Edna Nichols. ' LaMar Lund conducted thi services. Invocation, Shirl W. Nichols. Song, "In the Garden," Mrs. Bonnie Easton, Mrs. Jerrie Kirk and Mrs. Josephine Killam, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Beth Edwards. Ed-wards. Remarks, Bishop Leon Jones. Song, "Going Home," Mrs. F.aston, Mrs. Kirk and Mrs Killam. Benediction, David Reese. The grave in the Mona cemetery ceme-tery was dedicated by Floyd Roundy. Pallbearers were grandsons, Robert Vest, Raymond Vest, Gene Vest, Rodney Roundy, David Lowell and Eugene Gronning. Myron Vest was born Sept. 12, 1892, in Mona, to Hyrum and Sarah Ellen Piatt Vest. He married Katie Gay Kendall, Oct. 3, 1912. She died in 1957. He was a retired railroad machinist, and had been employed em-ployed by the Union Pacific Railroad for 52 years. He was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are the following children: Cornell Vest and Mrs. Carlyle (Blanche) Gronning, of Salt Lake; Mrs. Floyd (Myla) Roundy, Mendon; Mrs. William (Edith May) Lovell, Tooele; Samuel, Springville; a brother and sisters, Earl and Mrs. Katie Rogerson, Mona; Mrs. Nora Barton, Kaysville; Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Johnson, Salt Lake; also 22 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Out of town relatives attending attend-ing the services included Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Roundy and son Rodney, Mendon; Mr. and Mrs. William Lovell and children, chil-dren, Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle F. Gronning and children; chil-dren; Monty R. Ashworth, Dar-ell Dar-ell and Joyce Roberts and Raymond Ray-mond Vest, all of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Vest, Springville; Spring-ville; Mrs. Margaret McCann, Leamington, and Gene and Billy Vest and family, Layton. |
