Show OBITUARY !1 "-If THERESA M. PITCHFORTH Theresa Mendelsohn Pit-chforth, Pit-chforth, age 81, died July 3, 1981 in the Milford Hospital. She was born February 26, 1900 in New York City, to Maxlmllllan and Katie Nolan No-lan Mendelsohn. Married Samuel Eugene Pltchforth, Sr., February 4, 1919 in New York City. They moved to Milford that same year. Mrs. Pltchforth was a member of the Catholic Church and was Instrumental In helping to organize St. Bridgets Catholic church in in Milford. She was chairman chair-man of the committee that placed an Iron lung in the Southern Utah area for the use of local residents. She was a member of the Old Timers Club; B. of R. T. & V. F. W. Auxiliaries. She held many local and state offices In these two Auxiliaries. Survivors include: 2 sons; S.E. Jr., Murray, Utah; Donald, Bountiful, Utah; 3 daughters; Mrs. Paul "Catherine" "Cath-erine" Crosby, St. George, Utah; Mrs. W.D. "Patricia" Curtis, Granger, Utah; Mrs. Vern A. "Florence" Wood, Mlnersvllle. 17 grandchildren grandchild-ren and 25 greatgrandchildren. greatgrandchild-ren. A sister; Mrs. Gerald "Pauline" Gress, New York City. Funeral mass was held July 7, 1981 In the St. Bridgets Bridg-ets Catholic Church In Milford. Mil-ford. Interment was In the Milford City Cemetary under the direction of the Metcalf Campbell Mortuary. |
