Show Dave Tanner Oldest Resident passes Tuesday David A. Tanner, 96, Mil-ford's Mil-ford's oldest resident, died Tuesday morning in the Milford Mil-ford Valley Memorial Hos- pital, where he had spent much of the past year after a stroke restricted his activities. Services will be held at the LDS Church on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with burial in the MilfordCemetery. Viewing View-ing will be held Thursday from 7-8 p.m. and on Friday from 12-1 at the Olpin Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Arriving in Milford at the age of two, Mr. Tanner was the son of a local merchat. In more recent years, his vsharp memory of those early years in Milford history were recorded, and pictures, records, and his recollections recollec-tions are a part of every history of Milford and the area. For nearly ten years, he was proud to be the oldest man in town. More recently, he became the oldest person in town, when Mrs. Susan Glenn passed away. His successor suc-cessor in both instances will be L. A. Wynaught. He is survived by three children, Lillian Atkin, Milford; Mil-ford; R. J. Tanner, California; Cali-fornia; and Ethel Lewis, Og-den. Og-den. Friends are asked to make donations to the Milford Valley Val-ley Memorial Hospital in lieu of flowers. |
