Show SERVICES HELD FOR RALPH D. COOK Public Masonic funeral services ser-vices for Ralph D. Cook, 67, were held in Caliente Tuesday. Mr. Cook died Friday in a Caliente hospital after a long illness. Mr. Cook retired from the Union Pacific Railroad Co. in 1961 after 45 years of service. At the time of his retirement he was roadmaster between Milford and Las Vegas. He began work for the U P on the Kansas division at Sa-lina. Sa-lina. ' May 17, 1937; he was assigned roadmaster at Milford. He was appointed roadmaster at Caliente in 1939 and served until he was named track specialist spe-cialist at Pocatello, Idaho, in 1942. He returned to Caliente in 1944, as roadmaster between Milford and Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 17, 1895, in Carneiro, Kansas. Sept. 18, 1919, he married Helen Estelle Dickinson in Topeka, Kansas. He was a member of the Rotary Club, American Legion, and Masonic Lodge. |
