Show HARVEY DEAN DIES OF HEART ATTACK Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Monday afternoon in the Milford L D S Chapel for Harvey Ashworth Dean, 74, long-time Milford resident and Watkins Products distributor, who died Friday, April 5, of a heart attack. The services, conducted by Bishop Edgar C. Edwards, were as follows: .Prelude and postlude music, Mrs. Edna Nichols. The prayer at the mortuaryi preceding the services was offered of-fered by Rudolph Nielsen. Invocation, Robert Tomsik. Remarks, Bishop Edwards. Male quartet, "Oh My Father," Fath-er," Robert Wright, Calvin Whatcott, David Williams and Jesse Long, accompanied by Mrs. Williams. Obituary, Shirl W. Nichols. Ladies' trio, "One Fleeting Hour," Mrs. Jerrie Kirk, Mrs. Bonnie Easton and Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine Killam, accompanied by Mrs. Letha Smyth. Remarks, Armon Whiting. Remarks, LaMar Grimshaw. Ladies' trio, "Oh My Father." Pallbearers were Guy Whit-taker, Whit-taker, Gottfried Peterson, Armon Ar-mon Whiting, Don Alger, Heb-er Heb-er Myers and Dan Davis. The Milford American Legion Le-gion conferred military honors, and the Beaver American Legion Le-gion conducted graveside services serv-ices in Mountain View Cemetery Ceme-tery at Beaver. Dee Stapley dedicated the grave. The First Ward Relief Society So-ciety cared for the flowers and served lunch to relatives. He was born March 1, 1884, in Beaver, to Jedediah and Sarah Ellen Dean. He married mar-ried Beryl Irving, Sept. 5, 1905, in the Manti Temple. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Nellie Davis, Mrs. Mattie Hutchings and Carl Dean, all of Beaver; Mrs. Cleo Larsen Maack, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Hortense Park, Leland Dean and Jay Dean, all. of Provo. |
