Show Lynn Roberts Dies After Lengthy Illness Lynn Julian Roberts. 69, of Minersville, died at 11:35 a. m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Beaver Beav-er County Hospital at Milford, of silicosis. He was born May 22, 1892, in Minersville, to Frank and Jane Rollins Roberts. He married Albateen Myers July 1, 1914, at Parowan. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He had been a miner, and worked in many of the Beaver County mines until he became totally disabled in 1943. Surviving are his widow; five sons and two daughters, Phil Roberts, Minersville; Spencer Roberts, Cedar City; Robert Roberts, Loma, Colo.; Jack Roberts, Spanish Fork; Sonnie Lynn Roberts, Kearns; Mrs. Ada Garrett James, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Jane Thiriot, Salt Lake City; 22 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank W. Roberts, Van Nuys, Calif.; a half-brother, Ronald Banks, Milford; and two sisters, Mrs. Lois Hollings-head Hollings-head and Mrs. Inez Carter, Minersville. Funeral services will be con-duted con-duted at 2 p. m. Monday in the Minersville L D S Chapel. Friends may call at the Relief Rel-ief Society Room in Minersville Miners-ville from 10 a. m. Monday until un-til time for services. Burial will be in the Minersville Miners-ville Cemetery. |
