Show SHOWER A very delightful social event transpired on Wednesday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. S. S. Atkin. Mrs. E. A. Olson, Mrs. Chas. Sloan and Mrs S. S. Atkin wero chosen by the Wednesday Afternoon Bridge club, as a committee to give a shower in honor of Mrs. Geo. A. Atkin. They were assisted by Mrs. H. T. Hanks andi Mrs. A. J. Atkin Cards were enjoyed from 2:30 un-til un-til 5, when a dainty lunch was served in a very pleasing and masterful manner. The menu was a superb collation col-lation of all the good things one could ever think of to please the inner in-ner man. Mrs.' Atkin received some elegant and beautiful gifts, useful and ornamental. The event will linger long in the memories of every one present, for the perfectly plannedl affair, which brought thesuests together in a happy, hap-py, congenial way, and caused each one to feel refreshed and grateful for the pleasure realized that happy afternoon.
