Show MOST SENSATIONAL COW IN THE WORLD Segis Fayne Johanna, a pure bred Holstein-Friesian cow of royal lineage, has produced in a seven-day official test 50.68 pounds of butter. The test was conducted at the New York State Agricultural College. It ended January 8th, 1917. This makes Madam Segis Johanna a world beater and the first cow to pass the 50-pound mark. Her nearest rival was a South Dakota Holstein that produced 46.772 pounds of butter in the same time. Mr. Farmer, how would you like to own a string of cows like that? In the same seven days' test she gave 754.4 pounds of milk an average of 107.77 pounds per day. o i |
