A committee for the closing social, under the direction of Dale Rhodes, did a nice piece of work in connection with their dance held in the high school gym. The Unit also gave much time and service in taking care of the open crops' exhibits at the Box Elder County Fair, and worked out an interesting judging con test among themselves at this same Fair; where approximately 50 young men participated ana many won prizes donated by the f to Liberty Theatre P.M.A. 'rmcrli Tremonton boat i vT, build-- EVENING 'SHOWS t p of paint were purchased and ap Ued fe a as conslructed and operated by the mjit. The boys were aided in this project by a very generous contribution by Mr. Jack Fronk. Weedone was also purchased in large quantities at considerable savings and distributed among the members for use in control- ing noxious weeds on the farm. The Unit is planning a very active program for the coming year. They are now considering the purchase of large quantities of cement for use in resurfacing corrals, constructing sidewalks, roadways and water tanks. Through the efforts of Jay Holmgren, the boys have the use of a large cement mixer which is being repaired and made ready for use this spring. They won the final game from the Brigham Fourth Ward to gain their victory. This team with the Deweyville team will play in the division tournament in Ogden this week-en- d when 16 teams will participate. February 17th in the Tremonton District school gymnasium G rover, according to Clifton District Senior Scout Commissioner. Nine thrilling games were played. Fielding won first p'ace which entitles them to participate in the council tournament being held in the Ogden high school, February 19 to 27. Thatcher came in as 2nd place, Garland 3rd, Tremonton 1st, 4th. Deweyville, 5th, Beaver Dam 6th, and Tremonton 2nd ward 7th. There were 62 senior scouts BEGIN AT 7:C0 P. M.
