To help meet this condition, to stimulate industry and to reduce unemployment - Mr. and Mrs. Tom White were Gar den visitors Wednesday of last week. Mrs. F. S. Peck, Mrs. Delos Thomp son and Jennie Peck motored to Brig- ham City, Wednesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stayner ana daughter Marjorie of Ogden visited with relatives here last week. P. C. Petterson made a business trip to Salt Lake City last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Holmgren had as their guests last week, Mrs. Holmgren's mother, Mrs. A. Nelson, and sister Mrs. Jack King, both of Logan. Mrs. R. J. Stayner and daughter n June and Florence Petterson were visitors Wednesday of last week. P. C. Petterson left for his ranch in Idaho, last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ursel Rose visited with relatives in Brigham City, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Austin of American Fork and Mrs. John Brown of Lehi wee guests at the home of O Og-de- Mrs. A. R. Owner was hostess to the Daughters of the Pioneers, Thurs day afternoon. June 12th, Captain Mrs. Annie Johnson was in charge of the meeting. Prayer was offered by Mrs. George Beal. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Captain Mrs. Annie Johnson told of the celebration for the pioneers being planned at Brigham City, July 24th. Also other business pertaining to the organization. The Constitution and of the organization were read by Mrs. Eugene Bone. A whistling solo was given by Edna Capener. Mrs. Ludvig Larsen gave a sketch of the life of her mother. "A Tribute to the Pioneers," by W. IT. Griffin, was read by Captain Annie Johnson. Singing. "Rock of My Rufuge." Benediction was offered by Mrs. A. R. Capener. During the social hour Miss Edna Capener assisted bv Miss Meryl Limb, sreved a delicious luncheon to twenty-tw- o ladies. Mrs. B. G. Korth was an Ogden visitor Friday.
