Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Amelia Petersen has another grandson. She received the news from California. A son was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Petersen on August 9th. All concerned are doing nicely. Mrs. Rollin Wade and children, Ver-d- a and Vera, of Ogden, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Peterson during last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wade and children, TheUna and Jennie Marie, visited with the Petersons on Thursday. Mrs. Wade and children returned with them to Ogden the same day. Mrs. June Thompson entertained last Sunday in honor of Morris and Helen's birthday. A swimming party was enjoyed by twelve guests. Those from were Clara and Car-m- a Peterson, of Bear River City. Games were played and a wiener roast enjoyed. All had a lovely time. iBffrs. Edith Richardsen and children, of Ely, Nevada and Mrs. Margaret Parker and daughter, Norma, of Salt Lake, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Romer. Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Hansen, son, Ver non, and daughter, Lois, were dinner guests of Mrs. Annie Munns, of Garland, last Wednesday, in honor of their nephew, Austin Haas, whose mar riage took place on Monday, August 17th, in Salt Lake City.. They also were dinner guests of their daughter, Mrs. Arvil Hunsaker, of Honeyville, on Saturday, who entertained for the same party. Mrs. Austin is Mrs. cousin. Miss Erma Hansen entertained at a dinner party Sunday ,for Miss Clarice Young, of Brigham City. Miss Louisa Atkinson of Garland, Leland Watt, Carmon Whiteside and Spencer Harris of Layton. All were College chums of Miss Hansen. The Apres Mida club went to Friday where they were guests of Mr3. Delma Saunders, president of the club. Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen of Salt Lake visited with H. C. Snowvflle Miss Pauline Fuller, of Tooele, and Miss Marion Fuller, of Smithfield, are (By Fielding Correspondent) Wednesday afternoon of last week funeral services were held for Mrs. Hattie Hardy Sanders, of Nampa, Idaho. Bishop M. A. Gam officiating. The speakers were J. D. Wood of Farmington, Jarvis Johnson and Bishop Garn. Music was furnished by the choir with Mrs. Vern Bourne as soloist, vocal solo "Face to Face" by Mrs. O. J. McDonald of Salt Lake City, vocal duet by Misses Thelma and Phyllis Wood and G. G. Sweeten gave a cornet solo. Prayers were offered by former Bishop H. L. Richards and N. Garn. Mrs. Sanders was the daughter of Mrs. Harriet Hardy and was born in Farmington, February 16, 1870, and was an early settler in Fielding, later moving to Nampa, Idaho, where services were held Tuesday. Besides her mother, the following brothers and sisters survive her: Bob ert J. Hardy, Gus Hardy, Mrs. Ed Has Kel and Mrs, Art Saunders, of Collins-to- n. Burial was in the Fielding visiting their aunt, Mrs. Jos. J. Y aridn. Misses Florence and Maud Ander son, of Howell, are guests of their sister, Mrs. A. P. Larkin, this week.
