AMERICAN FORK BURGLARY ARREST - Two 21-year-old men were arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools. The men broke out a window of a local business and took $900 worth of air soft guns. RETAIL THEFT - An 18-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft after she attempted to take clothing items from a local business. busi-ness. RETAIL THEFT - A 26-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft after she attempted to take clothing from a local business. RETAIL THEFT - A 39-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to take electronic items from a local business. busi-ness. DUI A 39-year-old woman was arrested for DUI. The woman was involved in a hit -and -run dccidsnt CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested for criminal mischief and criminal trespass. They were trespassing under a bridge and had been spray painting paint-ing graffiti. DUI A 54-year-old man was arrested for DUI after he was stopped for a traffic violation. RETAIL THEFT - A 47-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft.The woman went through the self checkout of a local business busi-ness and failed to scan numerous items. UNATTENDED CHILDREN A 24-year-old woman was arrested ar-rested for leaving her children gnattended In a vehicle while she was shopping. CEDAR HILLS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSAULT AS-SAULT - A 36-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence vio-lence assault. The man and his wife got into an argument and he pushed her. EAGLE MOUNTAIN DISORDERLY CONDUCT - A passing motorist notified police of a road rage incident witnessed on SR73 and Ranches Parkway. When an off-duty officer arrived first on the scene, two men were yelling at and threatening each other. No injuries resulted from the argument. Both were cited for disorderly conduct. One driver was also cited for driving on a denied license. The other was booked into the Utah County Jail on an outstanding warrant and driving on a suspended license. PUBLIC INTOXICATION - Police Po-lice received a complaint from a local restaurant about an intoxicated intoxi-cated man causing a disturbance. The man was cited for public intoxication and released to a family member. FAIRFIELD ATV ACCIDENT - A young rider rid-er suffered a broken ankle from an ATV accident in the Five-Mile Pass area. Emergency medical teams from Cedar Fort and Eagle Mountain responded. The boy was transported to the hospital by ambulance. LEHI LOST PROPERTY -May 7, a debit card was lost and now there are many fraudulent charges on the account. DISORDERLY CONDUCT - On May 7, two individuals were booked into the Utah County jail on multiple charges, including interfering with an arrest, disorderly disor-derly conduct, etc. WEAPONS OFFENSE - A ju venile boy was cited into Juvenile Court on May 7 on possession of a dangerous weapo&on school grounds. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - A juvenile boy was booked into detention on May 7 on a charge of cultivating marijuana. u '' ' THEFT - Whey protejn, a necklace, neck-lace, shorts, and an Mod were stolen from a locker on April 29. ALCOHOL OFFENSE - A man was booked into thetah County jail on public intoxication on May 4- BURGLARY - On May 9, theft of DVDs, a socket set, rifle, waders, wad-ers, boots, pressure washer, fly fishing pole and reel, weed whacker, and checks were reported report-ed stolen from a residence. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - A driver hit a power pole and multiple mul-tiple fences on May 10. After the toxicology report is received, the individual will be summoned on multiple charges. PLEASANT GROVE r ; THEFT - On May 14 police responded to a theft of vehicle parts from a Lindon business. The owner said severs) diesel engine parts and other items had been stolen from the business's yard. The items were mainly scrap vehicle parts. THEFT - On May 14, officers responded to MCR Recycling in Orem to assist Utah County Deputy's on a theft out of Lindon City. As a result the three were cited for misdemeanor theft. THEFT - A red 1999 Harley motorcycle mo-torcycle was reported stolen on May 14. The motorcycle is listed on NCIC. THEFT - On May 12, a 1999 Yamaha ATV was reported stolen. sto-len. It was listed on NCIC. THEFT A pogo stick was reported stolen on May 12 by a 11-year-old boy. The stick was recovered. re-covered. The reporting party just wanted the incident documented and police to talk to the boy and his parents. DUIHARRASMENT - On May 15, police met with a man who requested a protective order against his ex-girl friend. He explained the ex-girl friend had arrived at his home and assaulted as-saulted him. He left and went to the police department to report this, however, he did not want charges filed against her. He was concerned that she was heavily intoxicated and driving. He asked officers to go to his residence to trespass her and check her welfare. Upon arrival to the area, the complainant pointed to the vehicle she was driving as she was pulling away. She was later stopped for possible DUI, and to investigate the assault. She was arrested for DUI. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - A caller reported two juveniles smoking on May 12. One juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia in a drug-free-zone and a tobacco violation. The second sec-ond juvenile was arrested for a tobacco violation. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF -Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at a residence on May 12. One woman was arrested. ar-rested. BURGLARY - Two suspects were arrested for burglary of a residence following a May 15 investigation. in-vestigation. SARATOGA SPRINGS BURGLARY - Several construction con-struction trailers were entered and tools taken from the Wal-Mart Wal-Mart construction site. The losses are estimated at nearly $15,000. Citizens Assisting Police (CAPS) volunteers have stepped up their patrols of the area. Citizens living near construction sites are also asked to call police if they witness suspicious activity at those sites, especially at night. VEHICLE THEFT-Saratoga Springs Police officers responded to the Smith's store on the report of a trailer theft in progress. The trailer was already gone by the time police arrived, Other agencies agen-cies were notified, Lehi police located the stolen trailer and initiated a pursuit, but the chase was terminated due to dangerous conditions and high speeds. The trailer was later found wrecked and abandoned in Lehi. The suspect was later arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail. The truck used to pull the trailer rmd also been stolen.
