For his Eagle service project, he helped coordinate a neighborhood neighbor-hood emergency preparedness plan which included assembling 72 hour kits and distributing them to families along with disaster information. infor-mation. Spencer also completed the city's CERT training course to help him understand what would be necessary for the kits; to help organize his neighborhood into groups for response and to assist himself in the event of a disaster. He is in the 12th grade at Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove High School. Spencer participated on the PGHS wrestling team and in soccer soc-cer teams in past years. His interests inter-ests are in aviation and he spent this past summer at Westminister's Westminis-ter's Summer Flight program. The couple will exchange vows in the St. George IDS Temple on May 24. A reception will honor the newly weds that same evening in St. George. An open house will be held on May 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bauman home, 1 150 North 1300 West, Pleasant Grove. Attending the bride will be her sister, Cassi Warby. Best man duties will be performed per-formed by Glade Bauman, brother of the groom. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Snow Canyon High School, St. George. She served a mission in Neuquen Argentina. She graduated gradu-ated from SUU with a major in English and a minor in Spanish. She has taught school at Tuachan High School and will teach at Gateway Preparatory Academy in Enoch beginning this fall. The prospective groom is a graduate of Santa Clara High School, Santa Clara, California. He served a mission in Des Moines, Iowa and is currently attending at-tending SUU. The couple will make their first home in Cedar City.
