A birthday cake featured the lunch, -games were played and Miss Bonnie received re-ceived some lovely gifts. Present were Merna Ault, Louise Duffln, Muril Evans, Joleen and Deanna Grant, Martha Hoelscher, Janet Mccham and Murial Pace. Fourth Ward Teen-Agera Leaders of the Fourth ward LTeen-age girls entertained the girls, the ward bishopric, MIA presidency, and the stake LDS Girls committee at a banquet in the ward house Wednesday of last week. The tables were attractive, at-tractive, with, cut flowers, potted plants and Oregon grape and covers were placed for 40. The couple ; and their children have been living with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Taylor since the doctor's graduation gradua-tion from school. Bonnie Brier ' ' Mrs. Frank Bush was hostess to members of the B. B. Club for bridge Wednesday of last week. Special guests were Mrs. Cora Chadwick, Mrs. Alma Earl, Mrs. C. A. Grant and Mrs. J. L. Mower. Wednesday evening a group of young married women of Alpine met at the home of Mrs. O'Dell Ingram for the purpose of forming form-ing a sewing club. Mrs. Ingram was chosen president with Mrs. Lloyd Balr, vice president; Mrs. Chester Aldrcdge, secretary, and Mrs. Ross Burgess, reporter. The group will meet the first and third Wednesdays of each month. At the next meeting a name will be chosen for the club.
