Show Annie Mary Wright Mower PLEASANT GROVE-Annie GROVE-Annie Mary Wright Mower, 95, former Roosevelt resident, died April 11, 1982 at the home of her daughter in Pleasant Grove. She was born Sept. 26, 1886 in Woodhouse, England to John and Sarah ,Staniforth Wright. She married Silas Willard Mower on Sept. 15, 1920 in the Salt Amanda AMERICAN FORK-Amanda FORK-Amanda J. Woffinden, . infant daughter of John Howard and Janet June Pulley Woffinden, died Friday, April 9, 1982 at the American Fork Hospital of prematurity. She was born April 9, 1982 at the American Fork Hospital. Survivors include her parents, one brother and one sister, Eric and Kristie Woffinden both Annie Searle Shields PLEASANT GROVE-Annie GROVE-Annie May Searle Shields, 93, died April 12, 1982 in Pleasant Grove. She was born March 16, 1889 in Salt Lake City to John C. and Elizabeth Granter Searle. She married John G. Shields on Sept. 30, 1908 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1956. She was an active member of the LDS church and had served in the Relief Society and as president of the Primary. T She is survived by four sons and three daughters: Ray S. Shields, Yuma, Ariz.; Lois Libby, Palm ; Roberta Peters - ;' Recital At Tabernacle Roberta Peters, Metropolitan Opera soprano, will perform a recital in the Provo Tabernacle tonight (Thursday) at 8 p.m. Although Miss Peters has frequently appeared in Salt Lake City (most recently as soloist with the Utah Symphony pops series last June), this will be her first appearance in Provo, where she will be sponsored by the newly-organized newly-organized Provo Cultural Affairs Board. Her program will include arias by Pergolesi, Mozart and Donizetti, also puccini and Rossini, and four songs of Debussy. The second half of her program will be drawn from American light opera and Viennese operetta tunes by such composers as Lehar and Zeller, also the famed "Vienna, City of Advice To Parents Think Twice About The Next Puff The best encouragement en-couragement for parents to quit smoking is to consider the influence in-fluence of their cigarette habit on their children. If both parents smoke, the child is about twice as likely to start as a youngster from a family where no one smokes. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 13, at 11 a., at the Springs; Mrs. Melba Venturi, Pleasant Grove; Jack (Howard) Shields and Donald Wallace Shields, both of Hayward, Calif.; Kenneth Lester Shields, Tracy, Calif.; Yvonne Louis Nickolette, Sand Leandro, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call one hour prior to services. ser-vices. , - Burial will be in Oakland, Calif. Cash, Jr. officiating. Ruth Ann Larson played the prelude and postlude music and Richard Bone, a son, offered the prayer with family members. Wayne Powell spoke the invocation which was followed by a musical duet "t Have a Testimony" by Lawana Beckstead and Barbara Anderson. They were accompanied by Patty Southwick. Bishop Cash offered comforting remarks and the biographical' sketch was presented by Geraldine Ekins. Speakers who eulogized Mrs. Bone for her many wonderful qualities poorcopy were Bishop Robert Webb and Bishop Sherwin Allred. Don Clark, accompanied by Ruth Ann Larson, sang "Hold Thou My Hand" and the benediction was offered by Keith Powell. A son, T.J. Bone, dedicated the grave at the I-ehi City Cemetery. Tyler James Bennett AMERICAN FORK-Tyler FORK-Tyler James Bennett, a one-day-old son of Hal Marvin and Jamie Suzanne Sorenson Bennett, was born April 5, 1982 in Provo. He died April 6, 1982. Survivors include his parents, two brothers, Cory Hal, and Jesse Daniel Bennett, all of American Fork. Pallbearers were Gene Bone, Kenneth Wells, Larry Bone, Jay Garlick, Kenneth Chamberlain and Nile Chamberlain. The flowers were cared for by the Lehi Sixth Ward Relief Society. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Bennett, American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. James D. Sorenson, Lindon; great grandparents, Mrs. Mae W. Bennett, American Fork; Mrs. Rose Ashton, Lehi.
