I Arrangements wore perfected this -week whereby tho City Pavilion will bo in use six nights lu tho week. Monday, Thursday and Friday ; nights will bo used for gymnasium gym-nasium purposes, nnd Tuesday, Wednesday Wed-nesday and Saturday nights It will bo operated as a skating rink by II. C. Feathcrstouc. Paul Minor, physical director of tho Lehi High School, will hnvo general supervision of tho gymnasium work. Junius Hanks, for tho M. I. A., Is renly responsible for bringing tho gymnasium Into oxlstancc. Ho has sent for tho necessary equipment with which to opcrnto It, and expects to I have everything in readiness for tho opening on Monday, November 2nd. An Initiation feo of 2f cents will bo charged each member, who Is also expected to provldo thcmsolvcs with a gymnasium cult, shoes, etc. When the plan wus proposed to tho several associations nt their meetings Inst Tuesday night, tho members showed I much enthusiasm, so that H.S success ' Is assured. One night each week will bo dovotcd to young ladles, ono night to tho young men, nnd they will occupy oc-cupy it conjointly tho third night. ' Mr. II. C. Featherstono has sent for a full set of ladles' and gentlemen's ball bearing roller skates and will open up for business this evening. Ho Intends conducting a first class orderly order-ly place so as to mnrlt tho patroungo of tho best class of people. |
