Williams, tho company's com-pany's general road master and superintendent sup-erintendent of buildings, were hero Wednesday and stuted that tho In-terurbnn In-terurbnn rond would erect a new and modem station this fall In American Fork. Tho gentlemen stated that tho building would bo larger than tho ones nt Leh and Pleasant Grove, and besides containing living rooms for tho agent and his family, would also Include nil tho latest features now being Incorporated In Intorurbnn depots de-pots In other parts of tho country. Tho building will not bo of concrete nnd will bo moro artistic than those hcro-toforo hcro-toforo built by this company. Tho road has grown into popularity so rapidly slnco it has been operated that tho business will Justify a building build-ing In American Fork thnt will bo superior to any hcrotoforo built, and one which will bo a credit to the town. The now depot will bo located on the south sldo of Main Street on tho site formerly occupied by tho Firmngo residence, which hns boon torn down nnd removed. The plans for the now dopot will bo completed In about ton days, and soon theronftor work on Its construction will commence. |
