Show FUNERAL HELD FOR MISS LENA MADSEN The North ward chapel was filled to its full capacity Sunday at the j funeral services for Miss Lena Mad- I sen. The services were in charge' of Bishop H. C. Jacobs and beautiful beauti-ful musical numbers were rendered1 by the ward choir. . The prayers J were offered by Professor Louis A. Peterson and Joseph Seely, and the speakers were Arthur h. Neilson, Daniel Rasmussen, Bishop H. C. Jacobs and Professor W. H. Boyle of the B. Y. U. of Provo, all of whom paid beautiful tributes to the character and sterling qualities of the young student. Special musical music-al numbers were rendered by Miss : Afton Argyle, Miss Venetta Stans-field Stans-field and Gertrude Rolfson, and Miss i Gertrude Olson, Miss Elaine Chris- ' tensen and Miss Virginia Christen-sen Christen-sen of Manti, representing the student stu-dent body of the B. Y. U. The floral offerings were, excep-, tionally beautiful and profuse and' were carried by classmates of Miss Madsen and the pallbearers were her I brother Albert, an uncle, D. D ; j Tebbs, of Hyrum, Jams and Peter; Jordan, and Theron Jorgensen.--Bishop H. C. Jacobs dedicated the ; grave. ! I |
