Show obituaries obituary ELSIE HOOPER funeral services for mrs airs elsie leavitt hooper annabella wife of the late samuel hooper will be held thursday afternoon at in the annabella ward chapel mrs airs hooper passed away july 11 after a lingering illness at the home of her daughter mrs airs P L fillmore Fill of annabella site she was born bom at mountain meadows utah december 18 1860 a daughter of dudley and marlah marian huntsman leavitt when a child she moved to st george with her parents her father was sent there as a colonl colonizer by president brigham young her girlhood was spent in dixie mrs airs hooper passed away on the fifty fifth anniversary of hermar her marriage which took place july 11 1883 in the st george temple she has resided at annabella since 1888 she was a faithful church worker especially as a relief society teacher she devoted several years of her later life to working in the manti temple she was i captain of the D U P camp red bu butte t te she h is survived by five sons and four daughters thomas dudley hooper H of monroe MO john albert hooper and william villian R hooper of annabella airs bertha jensen of richfield mrs airs orilla roberts mrs airs lydia ellen fillmore and mrs airs medora kay of annabella she is survived by thirty one grandchildren seventeen great grandchildren gr andich 11 d and a number of brothers and sisters |
