S., Clearfield, died Sunday, IKK) March 3, 1985 at his home followextended illness. fii HE WAS a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and was employed by the Union Pacific, the American T. and T., retiring from the Utah Power and Light Co. Surviving are his widow, two sons, Andrew A. Davis, Patrick G. Davis, all of Clearfield; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Juanita) Hadfield, Mrs. Ray (Elva) Woodard, both of Salt Lake City. HE WAS preceded in death by a son and a daughter. Mass of the Resurrection was held Wednesday, March 6 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Lather Mike Kallock ing an officiating. HE WAS born April 9, 1908 in Ouray, Colo., a son of Lewis S. and Ollie Berry Davis. He married Helen M. Angelovic INTERMENT was in the Clearfield City Cemetery. Ivan Merlin Adams Ivan Merlin Adams, 72, of Fort Smith, Ark., former resident of Layton, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 1985 at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith of cardiac arrest. HE WAS born Oct. Lloyd W. Berger May 26, 1929 in Rock Springs, Wyo. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6 at the Lind- quists Kaysville Mortuary Chapel for Lloyd Willard (Tink) Berger of 1360 E. 7(H) N., Fruit Heights, who died March 3, 1985 at the home of a niece, Mrs. David (Kathy) Horne, in Fruit Heights of heart failure. MR. BERGER was born Sept. South Dakota, a son of Frank William and Helen Wolfe Berger. He married life-lon- Mary Ellen Bennett April 25, 1947 in Elko, Nev. She died Sept. 13, 1981. He was Kcr: and reared in South Dakota. He had lived in Kaysville the past 38 years. graduated from Davis High School. SHE WAS an active member of the Layton I.DS 5th Ward, where she served in the Relief Society. Surviving are one son and two daughters. Roger Garbett, Deloies (Billie) Clay and Joyce Garbett, all of Layton; two grandchildren and HE WAS a retired paint. He was a member of the LDS Church and an Elder in the Fruit Heights 3rd Ward. Funeral services were con- ducted by Bishop David C. Horne. Funeral was under the direction of Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary. White He married Ina Louise Kunz on March 25, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died April 17, 1958. He married Camilla Weigel Durham on July 23, 1965 in Layton. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Mrs. Louise King White, 75, of South Sunset Drive, Kaysville, died Wednesday, March 6, 1985 at her home of heart failure. 1898 Temple. HE ATTENDED Davis County schools and graduated from Davis High School. He attended Utah State University two years. He was a farmer for many years. He served as watermaster and president of the Holmes Creek Irrigation Co. In 1952 he began working for Jed Call at the American Oil in Layton. He then worked for Fields Oil Co. in Ogden until he moved to Fort Smith, Ark., 15 years ago. HE PLAYED baseball tor Layton City and Davis County in the late 40s and early 50s. He was a member of the Layton 5th LDS Ward where he served as a wark clerk and also served a stake mission. He had been a genealogy worker, MIA president, Sunday School teacher and home teacher. He was also a High Priest in the Fort Smith, Ark. ward. SURVIVING are his widow of Fort Smith; two daughters and one son, Mrs. Darrell (Maude) Harper, Sunset; Mrs. Ronald (Jolene) Christensen, Milton; Merlin D. Adams, Layton; nine grandchildren and two Also three stepsons and one stepdaughter, Clarence F. Durham Jr., Fort Smith, Ark.; Victor H. Durham, Grand Canyon, Ariz.; Timothy Durham, Walls, Miss.; Mrs. Danny (Rebecca) Brasher, Layton; eight step grandchildren. MRS. WHITE was born March 12, 1909 in Kingmont, West Virginia, a daughter of Joseph William and Columbia Rebecca Bolton King. She married Harry D. White on Nov. 17, 1944 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. IVAN MERLIN ADAMS Barry Christensen, Dee Harper, Dale W. Adams, Jason Adams, Michael Adams and Darrell Harper, Don Harper. Honorary pallbearers were Steven J. Christensen, Michael J. Christensen, Clarence R. Durham, Victor Durham, Timothy Durham and Danny Bracher. SHE LIVED in Kingmont, West Virginia for 11 years. Salt Lake City for eight years and had resided in Kaysville for 57 years. She was a high school graduate. She attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City for two years. SHE WAS a member of the Kaysville 21 st Ward where she had served as junior Sunday School coordinator, and Relief Society, Primary and Sunday School teacher. Surviving are her husband of Kay sville, one brother and one sister, William L. King of West Valley City and Mrs. Leland (Doris) Colemere, Fruit Heights. FUNERAL services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Arthur Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
