Show THE Sunday School Conference. The general conference ot the Sunday schools uf the Boi Elder stake was held in the tabernhOe lash Sunday, .morning, afternoon ana evening sessions being held. Besides these, there were three officers meetiogheld, one on Saturday night and two on Sunday. The session Sunday morning witnessed a large attendance of Sunday se bool pupils and otlmrt.' On the atand were Elders L. i. Kuttall, B. Ypung and J. 'W. Ure, mem-me- n of the general Mud; the stake presidency, and the presidency of the stake Sunday schools. The roll call showed 18 members of the Sunday school board present and 93 representatives from 14 schools. After singing by the congregation' led by C. O. Anderson, stake chorister, and prayer by Elder J. W. Hoopes, Stake. Supt. J. D. Peters addressed the meeting. He said he believed the schools were using the best .means for their welfare and knew that there is an excellent corps of officers and teachers. The stake board is trying to keep up with other stakes. Only twelve schools are within a radius of ten miles of this city, but whatever the distance an effort has been made to keep all appointments on time. Hamson, died in this city April 9, 1903, of old age and general debility. She was born in Cumberland Co., Penn., July 22, 1828, being in her 75th year.
