Pisgah, Iowa, a daughter of John and Jane McDaniel Stoker, and came to Utah with her parents in 1848. She ha lived in this state since that time. MrB. Tolman was one of the first school teachers in Bountiful and had always been active in church and civic affairs. She was married to Judson Tolman in 1869. Her husband died seventeen years ago. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Martha Thur-gooSyracuse: Mrs. Ella Dibble, Layton; Mrs. Julia Hartley, Clin-tdMrs. Lillian Robinson, Ogden; Mrs. Myra Patterson, Salt Lake City, and Miss Mary Tolman, Bountiful, and four sons, John H. and Justin of Salt Lake; David R. of Bountiful, and Joseph of Pocatello. A brother, Jesse Stoker of Burley, Idaho, also survives. Mrs. Tolman also reared eleven of her husbands children by a former marriage. Those who survive are Mrs. Catherine Stoker, Mrs. Esther Barber, Mrs. Alice Yancey, Cyrus Tolman, and Wallace Tolman. WN.lJ.
