Show GRAND CANYON INVITES YOU To those who would revive early impressions of the old West, with its outlying ranches, great open ranges, unrivalled scenic features and virgin forests, the National Park Service of the Interior Department extends an invitation to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park this summer. The drive of 200 miles from the nearest rail and main highway high-way approaches to the Canyon's brink, traverses what has come to be known as "Utah's Scenic Wonderland." Wonder-land." Zion National Park, Cedar Jireaks, Bryce Canyon National Monument, Monu-ment, the Kaibab Forest with its large deer herds and rare white-tail squirrel and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, can all be visited on one trip and these scenic features comprise a "bewildering variety" unsurpassed un-surpassed elsewhere. The road to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is now open and in good condition and autos are making the trip over this route daily. Early Spring has made this section available to visitors much earlier than is usually usu-ally the case. The Camp at V. T. Park in the Kiabab Forest is now open, and the Wylie Way Camp at Bright Angel Point on the Canyon's Rim will be in operation by June 1st. Public auto camps for those carrying their own equipment and desiring to camp out are also available. |
