Show ZIOX NATIONAL PARK AND BRYCE CANYON. Tho Chronicle is in receipt of a beautiful volume from the Union Pacific Pa-cific entitled "Zion National Park and Bryco Canyon." This is an exceedingly ex-ceedingly attractive booklet, printed largely In colors, with artistic views of Zion Canyon, Cedar Breaks, the Kaibab Forest, the North Rim of the Orand Canyon, maps, and a delightful delight-ful write up. This booklet has a powerful appeal, so much so In fact as this will attest: The writer has vteltod Bryce Canyon seven times, Zion, and the Grand twloe, and Is going go-ing again this summer, when he will take along this booklet to study and compare. It is wonderfully well written, with a choice of words of amazing wealth of desoriptive value, val-ue, and Just such a book as a visitor visi-tor to those wonder spots would use to check up his own Impressions with, and furthermore, use as a guldo to see that he got all that was to bo seen. The various scenic values are all well brought out, v,-Uh a strong urge to Impel one to travel. Such a book will stimulate travel. The Chronicle can well recommend the entire trip as replete with Interest. |
