Show HOTEL IS FULLY ASSURED IT is a matter of congratulation to i the people of Cedar City to know that , the success of their big modern hotel is fully assured and the structure will be built next season. Sufficient local capital has been pledged to make the proposition safe, forming a neucleus on which the balance of the money needed dan be raised by the sale of bonds, if necessary. It is preferable, however, to moke it a local enterprise as far as possible, with no outside strings on it, and to this end additional subscriptions to the stock are earnestly earnest-ly invited. People in Salt Lake City nnd on the coast realize better than we do what the improvement of the Arrowhead Trail, the conversion of Zion Canyon into a "national park, and the opening of good roads to our matchless scenery will mean in the way of tourist travel through this section, sec-tion, and are anxious to match their money with ours in an adequate hotel, project; but those most actively engaged en-gaged in the matter here nre anxious to hnve the proposition handled at home as far ns possible. Therefore, local people are receiving the first opportunity op-portunity at the stock. But the hotel will be built, regardless of whether more stock is subscribed for here or not. The site has been definitely decided de-cided upon, the first payment on the stock is nearly completed, the plans for the building are under way, and the articles of incorporation will be filed within the next few days. They have already been pased on by the stockholders. |
