Show oo Socie ty CHILDREN'S AID BENEFIT. Manager Sims will donate the receipts re-ceipts of Wednesday's matinee at the Globe for the benefit of the Children's Aid society. Speaking pt the society's work nnd the generous offer of Mr. Sims, Mrs. J. P. Bush said: "The object of the Children's Aid society is to help the orphaned and neglected children of whom Ogden may one day be proud and will be, if the proper caro is given them at the proper time. "Tho society has found considerable of this work in Ogden and the board members are giving much time to families of children where sickness, privation, misfortune and oven death exists. "Many will patronize the show Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon next with the thought that some darling little tot Is going to receive much relief because of their donation." CHRISTIAN LINK CIRCLE. The members of the Christian Link circle were pleasantly entertained at tho homo of Mrs. George W. Driver, last Wednesday afternoon. Owing to numerous counter athtractlons on the date of the meeting the attendance was not as heavy as usual. However, what was lacking In numbers was made up in enthusiasm and those present held a successful session. The plans for the new Chrls-tlon Chrls-tlon church were gone over In detail by the members of the circle. The building fund is not yet large enough to warrant the commencement of tho building, but it is expected that the fund will be swelled considerable during dur-ing the next few weeks. The Driver home had been beautifully beauti-fully decorated in roses and other flowers for the occasion. Because of the time spent on the church plans the social session had to be foregone. MARTHA SOCIETY. Tho Martha society met this afternoon after-noon with Mrs. A. P. BIgelow at her homo on Jefferson avenue. Gave a Farewell. Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. N. C- Freeman gave a farewell party at their home on Pingreo avenue for Mrs. , Harriett aad daughter Charlotte- who leavo Sunday for New York City, their old home, to spend the summer. Mrs. and Miss Harrison are well known as the head fitter and bookkeeper book-keeper at Last & Thomas. After a delicious lunch was served, the evening was spont with song and music. Several beautiful romem-brances romem-brances were glvon by their friends.
