Show Primary Presents Celebrating the birthday of the Primary Association, and climaxing summer activities, Bryan Ward Primary presented the evening program pro-gram Sunday, Aug. 4 at the ward chapel, 1621 South 1100 East. A display of handiwork done by the youngsters was set up in the ward lobby. Katherine Kelsey, a teacher played play-ed preliminary organ music and the children sang the prayer song, "I Thank Thee, Dear Father." Valerie Smith opened the meeting meet-ing with prayer, and the children sang the opening song. Mrs. Minnie Ure spoke briefly, greeting parents in the congregation. congrega-tion. Marvin Purdie and Mrs. Kathy Meyers, along with youngsters Susan Klenk, Michael Gunn and others from the Top-Pilot class portrayed "A Plea to Parents" in modified dramatic form. Mrs. Eliza Madsen, Top-Pilot teacher, spoke on the subject, "A Plea to Parents." Former Bishop Ileleman P. Call and Mrs. Call, young Sylvia Call, Rose Marie Meyers, Debra Pear-main, Pear-main, Grant Madsen, dramatized the theme "Together We Help." Bishop Lloyd T. Johnson also spoke breifly. |
