Show ' acreage going dp. Nearly All (holio Lots Hare lteeii Itoailily Tuken at Very Hood Figures. INSIDE PROPERTY IS STEADY. The Sales for the Week Toot up Over $1,000,000-Deumnd for Business Busi-ness Property is Good. During tho past ttefck there has been quite an aotivo demand fcrr acreage property and prices have advanced considerably. con-siderably. Somo five-aero lots in the southern additions which could have bxm bought two months ago for $1500 an acre, sold easily this week for ?2O00, ami good land brought fcltW an acre. The fact is that there is very little if any acreage property within a reasonable distance of tho city remaining on tho market. Of course dealers ow n a great dual of this kind of realty andw.il eventually event-ually sell, but prices as they now are will scarcely bo ninlntaluod for any great length of "time. Strangers are not buying to any great extent today, owing', ow-ing', they sat', to high figures. They ex press themselves as disappointed. They came horo with but little ready money, with tho expectation of buying on time and realizing in a few days or weeks at an advance, ami by turning over their limited capital they hoped to reap sulll-cient sulll-cient prolit to pay for tho venture. In this they have boon disappointed, and lieiieo their apathy. Inside property has Wen very quiet during tho week at unchanged prices. The transfers recorded, however, have footed up enormously, allowing an aver-ago aver-ago of about $175,000 a diiy. This would unite n total of 81.050.000 for the six days ending today. Yesterday tho transfers trans-fers wero particularly heavy, ono for $100,000, ono for ?I0,000 and 0110 for 2S,-0X) 2S,-0X) being recorded. Tho total for the day amounts to W-S.'A'll. Tho demand for business property may l said to be fairly active with no advance in prices. It is tho opinion of Bomo of tho dealers that a drop will come lieforo a great while, but intending purchasers should not rely upon anything so remote. Other dealers think that property of any kind will never bo lower than it is now and that this is consequently tho bent tune to buy. Friday's Ileal Kutnl Trnimfrni.
