Show Little Leagues Enter Home Stretch KNOW YOUR With Abundancy of Upset Victories j ; Pressure Mounts As Teams Down to Last Two Games !As per usual, Little league play this past week featured a cluster, of upsets as the tables were turned again and again. In the American circuit, the first-hal- f championship Green-head- s team continued its tail-spiup its fourth picking straight loss and winding up In last place. , The champs were shut out, by the DZ's on the one-hpitching of P. Morris, Thursday. Meanwhile, the winners bombarded two Greenhead chuckers for 17 hits. In a closer contest on Monday, 15-0- it the Rangers edged the title team and with the win, squeezed into first place by a half game. Freeman and Pierce hit home runs for the winners. In the other Thursday game, the Rockets notched their third win by smashing out 20 hits in a 72 triumph over the Rangers.
