Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Heed, Mr. and Mrs. .John - Mrs. Caroline Stewart Phillips, one of the oldest residents of Kays ville, died at her home here At 6J! p. m. Wednesday following several weeks illness, due to the infirmities of old age She was the daughter of William and Mary Ann Marriott Stewart, early pioneers of Utah, and was born in Kaysville, March 13, 1856, and had always made her home here. She woa married to Heber J. Phillips in the qld endowment house in Salt Lake, December 2D, 1873. Mr. Phillips died in November, 1908f Mrs. Phillips was the mother of sevei children and is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Robert C. Jamison of Burley, Idaho; Mrs. J. T. Durrant of Ogden; Irvin Phillips of Ialo Alto, California; Miss Leah Phillips and Charles Phillips both of Kaysville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eighteeu greatgrandchildren and by the following half brothers and .sisters: Walter W. Stewart, Miss Sophia Stewart, William H. Stewart, Alma M. Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart, Moroni D. Stewart and Clarence B. Stewart, all of Kaysville. Funeral services will be held in the Kaysville ward tabernacle Saturday afte. vmn at 1:00 oclock.
