A door to door canvass will be made the week end of Heart and on Sunday. February Bingham Murray Tooelr Cyprus Hillcrest Granger Jordan 28-2- 9 March 1. A business and professional dtive will be made sometime during the month of Feb- ruary. Fridays Schedule: Bingham at Tooele Murray at Granger Hillcrest at Cyprus Tooele will attempt win number four thU friaay when they entertain the Bing- ham Miners who are currently tied for the league lead with Murray. THE BUFFS are rolling in high gear being on the front of a three game winning but in the Miners they face their toughest chore of the year. Bingham is still the choice to win the league in spite of the fact that they lost to Hill- crest. They are big, fast and they score in astronomical fi- gures. They have four players who are averaging 10 or more points, as they fashioned a 75 point average per game as compared to Tooeles 52. Bingham has been in the 80s twice and in the 90s once. Tooele's best is 63 scored against Granger. Defensively the Buffs are a bit tougher - 52 to 64 points allowed per game. Both are battling furiously for a tournament berth and each would like to wind up the first half with a win. Taking a look at this weeks schedule it figures that Murray Bingham and Cyprus will win which means that Murray and Bingham will still be tied for first and Tooele will tie with the winner for Cyprus Hillcrest third. Course if Tooele wins they are certain to move into a tie for second with Bingham and they could tie for first - providing Granger dumps Murray - many interesting possibilities. THREE TEAMS from Region Four goes to the tourney as entrants in the Southern Bracket with two teams from the Salt Lake area and three teams from Utah County. The Buffs can take a big step towards a tourney berth if they come up with a win this Friday. Game time is 6: 15 for the JVs and about 8 p.m. for the varsity.
