Show Funeral Services . Held Tuesday For Yar Veteran Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Berg Mortuary, Mor-tuary, for Edward B. Graves, 37, 210 East 8th South, Springville, who died Friday, in the veteran's hospital, Salt Lake City. Bishop Ruel Crandall of the Second ward bishopric, presided. Burial was in the Provo City cemetery, where military honors were conducted by Wasatch Post No. 1 of DAV. Mr. Graves was born February 15, 1919, a son of Fred and Florence Flor-ence Bain Graves in Benjamin. He received his education in Benjamin and Payson schools. He served in CCC at Zions Park. He married LaRae Roberts, June 11, 1938 in Provo where they made their home. He was employed by the Telluride Motor Company and Town Supply and later worked for Columbia Steel Company at Iron-ton Iron-ton Plant. After serving in World War II he made his home again in Provo and later moved in 1950 to Tooele. Mr. Graves was a member of the LDS church and active in the Springville Second ward priests quorum. Survivors include his widow, three sons and one daughter: Edward Ed-ward LaMar, Frederick Ray and Michael Kay and Florence Ann Graves, of Springville; one brother, broth-er, Jack Graves of Spanish Fork; a half-sister, Mrs. Bryce (Beverly) Corbett of Spanish Fork; two step sisters, Mrs. Bert (LaRue) Mills of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Link (Nellie) Hansen, Tooele. |
