Show SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR MAPLETON WOMAN Largely attended funeral services ser-vices were conducted Sunday in the Mapleton ward chapel, for Mrs. Emma Sarah Kelsey Lee, 83, pioneer of Springville and Maple-ton, Maple-ton, who died last Thursday at the family residence following a long illness. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary. Mrs. Lee was born in Springville Spring-ville Dec. 14, 1861, a daughter of William H. and Harriet Huggett Kelsey. She was married to John H. Lee July 22, 1880, in the Endowment En-dowment House at Salt Lake City by Daniel H. Wells. Mr. Lee died on Dec. 14, 1929. Mrs. Lee moved to Mapleton in 1892, and had lived there since, taking an active part in church and civic work. She was a Relief Society teacher for 35 years and a charter member of the Mapleton Camp D. TJ. P. She was also a member of the early day Retrenchment Society Soci-ety in Springville, which later became the M. I. A. She was the mother of thirteen sons and daughters with ten surviving, sur-viving, as follows: Mrs. Leonard Diamond, Leland; E. Ronald and Kelsey Lee Mapleton; J. Arnold and Mrs. Horace Manwaring California; Cali-fornia; Harry K. and Fred K. Lee Mrs. Jay Averett and Mrs. J. TJ.
