It was a spectacular event, hosted by the Skyhawk cheerleaders. It was a girl's choice dance, which gave many students the opportunity to make new" friends. They danced and partied amidst the beautiful decorations; there were Christmas lights, trees, and even sleigh bells that helped set the festive mood. They also had the chance to take pictures behind a beautiful backdrop of a winter wonderland. It was an awesome experience for all the students in attendance, and it was definitely a night full of holiday spirit. Students can look forward to the next dance in January, hosted this time by the band and orchestra. Spanish Fork High' School's Annual Christmas Idol is being held on Friday Dec. 19, at 8 p.m. Each year the students at Spanish Fork High School share their talents with a Christmas twist. Students will dance, sing, play instruments, act, and rap. The show is always filled with exciting talent, and is always good for a laugh. It is also a great way to get in the Christmas spirit. The show is filled with good Christmas music and other holiday acts. The show runs like the SHHS Dance Company Concert hit show American Idol. It features star students who play the roles of Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Simon. Cowell. A week before the show, try outs are held and only the best acts are chosen by the judges to compete to be the next Christmas Idol champion. The night of the show each contestant or contestants are critiqued by the judges, but the winner is voted on by the audience.
