Utah SCHOOL Kanab High School Students at Valley returned from Thanksgiving holidays all ready to go another month until the Christmas holidays. The Seniors attended 'Education Day in Kanab November 27. They were informed as to the subjects offered and as to the colleges and schools that are available to them. Excitement at Valley seems to be bubbling over the roof tops this week. We are anticipating our first basketball game of the season on Friday. Valley will play Beaver in the Valley High Gym and they will meet Parowan on Saturday. Almost everyone is so excited that everything seems to be a mass of confusion. All of the clubs and cheerleaders are rushing to get things in order before the first big game. The only ones who seem to be ready are the ball players. School resumed Monday after a hardy Thanksgiving vacation. All the kids are walking around looking bloated and mumbling something about hating turkey". The Cowboys after finishing the football season in second place are going to start their basketball season Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2nd. The two practice games will be played against Bryce Valley and Piute. The Cowboys art' looking forward to a very successful season this year. A few of the chorus and band students will travel to Cedar Friday to attend the region band and chorus contest.
